Python Job: Python Lead

One of our direct client is in need of Lead Python developer with following skills:

Role: Lead Python Data Engineer

Job Summary:

As part of the Risk Technology department, the senior developer will take part in local development and integration work, related to the local and global risk systems.

Required Qualifications:

• 10 years of experience in IT with more than 4 years of experience in Market Risk/Credit Risk/Portfolio Risk or Banking/Financial Service Industry.
• Must have 2 years of Lead Experience.
• Expertise in Python.
• Strong experience in SQL and database programming (preferably MS SQL Server).
• Good understanding of ETL/ELT and DWH concepts with hands-on experience using ETL/ELT tools.
• Strong testing and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and other DevOps tools.
• Functional expertise in time series management including fitting curves and vol surfaces.
• Good communication and presentation skills.

Key Skills:

• Python with ETL/ELT Data Engineering - Must Have.
• Pandas - Must Have.
• PySpark (or) DBT - Must Have.
• Python Application Development: Microservices, Rest API s Implementation Such as Flask, Django & Pyramid - Must Have.
• Airflow Job Scheduling - (Preferred/Good to have).
• Databricks (Preferred)
• Kafka - Must Have.
• SQL - Must Have.
